Data Protection Notice - Workshop 2025
Your personal data will be collected and processed for the purpose of your registration and attendance at the IDPC Fundamental Rights Workshop, and for sharing, within one week following the event, the slide decks delivered by the speakers. All your personal data will be securely erased immediately thereafter.
The Office will only collect the following personal data which is strictly necessary for the purpose of the processing as described above:
- name;
- surname;
- email address; and
- entity or organisation.
The event registration data will be collected and managed via Microsoft Forms, a web-based application, and stored within the government's IT infrastructure managed by the Malta Information Technology Agency (“MITA”).
Access to your personal data is restricted solely to employees of the Office who are involved in the organisation of the event.
The legal basis for processing your personal data is to enable the Commissioner to fulfil his tasks set forth in article 57(1)(b) and 57(1)(d) of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), and therefore, the processing of this personal data is based on article 6(1)(e) of the GDPR.
