What is our mission?

Our mission is to safeguard the fundamental rights of individuals in relation to the processing of their personal data by independently monitoring and enforcing the application of data protection law, while promoting awareness, accountability and responsible data governance, and facilitating access to information held by public authorities in order to promote transparency and good governance.
